this year has passed at warp speed.

i am in awe of the courage that i have found in myself.

one year ago, i left the hospitality industry after a decade of service. it was the best move i ever made. i miss the antics, i don’t miss the grind.

leaving the hustle & flow was not an easy choice.

it changed me.

it  has  made  me  stronger  than  ever.

first job not working with food & drinks

first time i taught my craft to another

first anti-fashion show

first time as a legit festival vendor

first time i’ve shared my creativity on a local level

first year of marriage

first time i’ve even considered being a mother

first time i used a power drill

first brush with death

first time i actually took notes while sewing

first time i’ve looked at the future without anxiety

first time i’ve let my inner light shine the way

all of these have taught me the value of preparation, intention, and patience.
